By adding friends, you can visit their Gardens and send gifts to each other!
To access the Friends view, go to your in-game Menu > Friends:
Adding and Inviting Friends
You have a few options for adding friends.
If you'd like to refer someone you know to the game, you can invite them using the green 'Invite' button at the bottom of the Friends tab:
This also shows you the rewards you'll receive if that person installs the game directly from your referral link. Your friend should receive a reward in the game too!
If you'd like to add someone using their Gardener Tag, you can do so by tapping on the Add Friends tab:
Just type their Gardener Tag in the search box and then tap 'Search' to find them and send a request to them. They'll need to accept your request before they're added to your game.
You can also find your own Gardener Tag at the bottom of this view. Just tap it to copy it so that you can paste it into a chat, for example. You can send this to anyone so they can send you a friend request in the game.
Any invites you receive will show in the Inbox tab and you can accept them there.

Sending and Receiving Gifts
From the Friends tab, you can send gifts to your friends by tapping the green button next to their Garden name. You can send up to 5 gifts per 24 hour period. If you've already sent a gift to that person within that time frame, you will see a gray gift icon with a check mark on it. Check back later to send a gift to them again.
If you've received gifts from your friends, you can find those in the Inbox tab. You will also see a red notification there if you have any gifts to collect:
To collect your gifts, either tap the 'Accept' button next to each gift, or tap the 'Collect All' button at the bottom of this view. If you collect all of them at once, they will appear in one bubble.
The maximum number of gifts that you can have in your inbox is 20. When you have 20 gifts in your inbox, anyone trying to send gifts to you will not be able to until you've freed up space in your Inbox.
Visiting your Friends' Gardens
You can also take a look at your friends' Gardens! To do so, just tap the 'Visit' button next to their Garden name in the Friends tab:
To exit back to your own Garden, just tap on the 'X' at the top right part of the screen.
