If ads won't run at all (a black screen or non-responsive buttons) or if they freeze or crash, the following troubleshooting steps will hopefully help:
- Force close and reopen Merge Gardens
Reboot your device - switching of your phone or tablet and switching it back on again often works
Make sure that your connection is stable - you can test your connection here.
Check that Merge Gardens is up-to-date; if you see 'open' on Google Play store or 'open' on the App Store after refreshing (swipe down from the top) then you should have the latest version.
Please also make sure that your device has the latest available operating system:For Android: Settings > System Updates > Check for UpdatesFor iOS: Settings > General > Software Update
- For those issues where the ads do not work at all or where you are seeing repeated ads, please try allowing your ads to be tracked to rule out this possibility - you can do this in your device settings.
For Android: Settings -> Google -> Ads -> Uncheck “Opt out of Personalized Ads”For iOS: Settings > Privacy > Advertising -> Uncheck “Limit Ad Tracking”Please do not “Reset Advertising ID” on either device.
