Why haven't the events started yet?

With the 1.34.0 update, event start and end times have changed.

 

What are the changes?

Events will now begin and end at 8am UTC instead of the previous start and end time of 12am UTC. This means that the events will start and end 8 hours later than they did previously.

 

Why did the start and end times change?

We made this change to help our team better monitor events and quickly address any issues that might arise in order to create the best gaming experience for our players.

 

Will all events start at this new time going forward?

Yes, moving forward, all in-game events will start and end at 8am UTC.

 

How can I find out what time 8am UTC is in my local time zone?

You can easily check the local time equivalent using a time converter tool online. After an event has started, there will also be a countdown timer showing when the event will end both under the event icon at the top of the game screen and within the event pop-up.

 

What if I missed the start of an event because of the new time change?

Although the start times of the events is changing, the end times will shift by the same amount so you'll get the same amount of time to complete events as you would usually.
